Perfumer
Limited Edition 06
Ane Ayo’s personality is a beautiful blend of European cultures. After her childhood in Spain, she studied in the United Kingdom, spent time in Germany and has been working in France for many years. This multiculturalism taught her to draw inspiration from many sources.
After an inspiring childhood by the ocean in Bilbao, Ano studied pharmacy, but a newspaper article about master perfumer Alberto Morillas captivated her. She completed a master’s degree in perfumery and fashion management before studying at the Grasse Perfumery Institute. For her, above all, perfumery is a profession of trust and sharing, and also a passion, which allows her to express her aestheticism and personality, while opening new doors to the world around her.
Like many other perfumers, Ane is inspired by her travels, especially in Japan, which amazes her with its culture, gastronomy and art. Menorca, her “vacation island”, also holds a special place in her heart. She also has a great interest in painting, fashion and dance.

How does the Massimo Dutti woman smell?
The Massimo Dutti woman is timeless and elegant. Her skin is glowing, kissed by the sun and she has a delicate, feminine quality that she expresses through this sparkling scent.
What is the story behind the Limited Edition 05 perfume?
This new limited edition captures the scent of summer. A sun-kissed, powdery-floral scent that invites you to feel the summer breeze all year long. On top, the fragrance releases the natural freshness of Linden Flower, associated with the sunny energy of Bergamot. A captivating freshness, animated by a touch of Cardamom, which drapes the composition with some flamboyant and contrasted reflections.
Then, I added some flowers, Mimosa, Lily-of-the-Valley and a touch of Almond Milk, all these deliciously excite and gently caresses the skin. Finally, an enveloping note of Blond Woods perfect this olfactory landscape, while a veil of Tonka Bean brings a generous, creamy shade to a pure summer day.
Are there different versions of the perfume before arriving at the final fragrance? And how do you know which is the final one?
Of course, when we create a fragrance, we always have to go through different permutations of ingredients in the formula. It’s very rare to get it right the first time. Part of our job as perfumers is to experiment until we get to a place where everyone is happy, and that’s the point where we know we’ve arrived at the finish line.
What are your favorite scents?
For myself, I love fresh perfumes, colognes. And the smell of clean, it’s the real scent that I love because it brings me comfort and reassurance. This is very personal! As a perfumer, I love to work on floral notes, woody notes, full of texture and depth. I also love chypres and working with musks, which are addictive.
An unforgettable olfactory memory?
My interest in scents started at a very young age. Growing up, I remember the smell lavender in the morning, mixed with freshly brewed coffee.
