Arco ‘26. The Windows

The annual collaboration between Massimo Dutti and AD magazine extends with the installation of a selection of works by Jacobo Castellano and Sandra Mar at the Serrano 48 store during the days when the world’s largest contemporary art fair, ARCO, takes place.

This visual narrative continues the vision presented by the artists at AD’s stand at the contemporary art fair. The project is structured around tree roots and wooden sheets recovered after the fires in the mountains of Laza (Ourense), composing a landscape of light and shadow where burned matter becomes a symbol of transformation.

This Massimo Dutti project was born with the mission of promoting creativity and generating a dialogue between disciplines. A fusion of fashion and art that transcends the established and invites the public to become part of an immersive experience, reflecting the collaborative spirit that defines this encounter.

Jacobo Castellano’s work explores memory, use, and the trace of time through found materials and minimal gestures. Sandra Mar, from a more luminous and atmospheric perspective, works with perception, space, and the fragility of matter. Together they propose a sensitive dialogue between process, context, and contemporary emotion in the artwork.
