Casa Corberó
Xavier Corberó
In addition to being one of the greatest architectural icons of the twentieth century, the space created at the end of the 1960s by the sculptor Xavier Corberó has become a unique and sought-after setting for many campaigns by international brands, such as Massimo Dutti’s latest perfume collection campaign.

A sculptor of public and private works, painter, jewellery designer, and interior designer, Xavier Corberó’s work is exhibited at the MoMA and the Victoria and Albert Museum, among others. The house’s roots are based on the interdisciplinary and integral training concepts introduced by the Bauhaus.
Un laberinto de arcos, cristal y hormigón
In 1968, Xavier Corberó —
a close friend of Dalí, Duchamp, Man Ray, and Max Ernst—bought a piece of land in Esplugues de Llobregat to build his house/workshop, a maze of arches, cement, and wood, which exudes surrealism and reminds us of Escher’s paintings.

It took him nearly forty years to finish the house. The result: five labyrinthine-style floors with a hexagonal inner courtyard that hides more than 400 of the artist’s works. Today the space has become the setting for many international brands’ campaigns.
