Famous French sculptor Lauren Martin (LO) sculpts bamboo creations that explore the aesthetic possibilities of a material not usually associated with the fine arts.

The artist’s interest in bringing his work into public spaces, together with Massimo Dutti’s interest in highlighting the value of art, has resulted in unprecedented collaborations, such as the one seen in the Marineda store.

Each piece by the artist is a balanced work of art with movement, adding to the beauty of the air between the forms.

In the pieces displayed in the Marineda store (A Coruña), as is the case with many other works by this artist, the four essential elements are explored: air and water in the bamboo, and earth and fire in the ceramic weights.

The young artist Carla Cascales is known for her sculptural works, paintings and installations, where materials are transformed into organic movements and textures.

Carla’s work can be admired at the back of the till area in the Marineda store (A Coruña). Her work is based on finding beauty in imperfection and depth in the earthly, and on revering authenticity above all else.
