ArtInProgress
St Tropez by ELIURPI
Massimo Dutti presents a new chapter of his artistic project “Art in Progress” in St. Tropez: An ode to the Mediterranean by ELIURPI.
In the heart of St. Tropez, Massimo Dutti has opened a pop-up store featuring a new chapter of its ArtInProgress project, an initiative that merges art, fashion, and environment. In this edition, the brand collaborated with the artistic duo ELIURPI, who created a unique installation inspired by the essence of the Mediterranean.
An installation that
breathes the soul
of the ArtInProgress St Tropez sea

The centerpiece of this collaboration is an evocative work that recreates the sea’s undulating movements, the richness of its flora, and the shifting light of its reflections. With a visual language that embraces the organic and the ethereal, ELIURPI aimed to pay homage not only to the beauty of the Mediterranean but also to what remains of it—a reminder of its fragility and value.
Soft shapes, natural materials, and an aesthetic deeply tied to the surroundings make this installation a point of contemplation in the bustling St. Tropez. The artwork, placed inside the pop-up store, becomes a sensory experience that transcends the visual and connects with emotions.

ELIURPI is a Barcelona-based duo formed by Elisabet Urpí and Nacho Umpiérrez. Since founding their studio in 2010, they have combined sculpture, design, and installation to explore the boundary between functional objects and artistic expression, challenging traditional forms and fashion.
Inspired by Mediterranean minimalism, their handmade pieces emphasize proportion, materiality, and stillness. Each creation balances organic forms with architectural structures, conveying subtle tension and controlled movement.
ELIURPI’s work invites the viewer to slow down, activate the senses, and experience space as an intimate, emotional, and deeply human encounter.
