CANNES
The city on the Côte d’Azur becomes the world epicentre of the seventh art until 25 May.
Once again this year, everything that is going on in the world of cinema and everything that is of interest will take place between the Palacio de Festivales y Congresos and the Hotel Martínez, one of the places to be in the city.
The most important film festival in the world is a showcase for good films, but also for luxury and glamour. And although seeing a film is reserved for those with a few privileged accreditations, the red carpet at the Palais is free and accessible to the curious and film buffs alike.
Francis Ford Coppola’s return to the Cannes competition 45 years after the Palme d’Or for ‘Apocalypse Now’ is the focus of the festival, which this year will pay tribute to Meryl Streep and George Lucas.
These are the 10 films you can’t miss at the Cannes Film Festival 2024:
Megalopolis
Francis Ford Coppola
Bird
Andrea Arnold
The Shrouds
David Cronenberg
Marcello Mio
Christophe Honoré
Kinds of Kindness
