POLO PARK

Polo Park has become a festival of experiences with creative, culinary lifestyle and entertainment options, all under the umbrella of the Barcelona International Show jumping Competition (CSIO Barcelona), at the Real Club de Polo.

Now in its fourth year, Polo Park has once again turned the Polo Field (the largest natural green space in the city) into a space for fun, exciting options for all ages, based around CSIO Barcelona. Once again this year, one of the most popular activities with our youngest guests was the Little Riders Corner, a space created by Massimo Dutti and the Theodora Foundation. A Pony Park where children had the chance to have their first contact with a horse and lots of fun and games with a wide range of art and crafts activities.

THE COMPETITION

This year, nine of the 10 best riders in the world participated in the competition which boasted the best billing in its history.

This is the seventh consecutive year that the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona has hosted the final of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup, the most important competition in the international equestrian calendar. It was ultimately Ireland that, after a tight final, walked away with the trophy and ensured its participation in the next Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. 8 nations, 98 horsemen and women and 166 horses were the clear stars of the eight competitive events. A total of 6000 jumps were enjoyed by visitors to the individual and team events.
