Massimo Dutti Resort 2018 Collection

Photographed by Gregory Harris

Massimo Dutti shows its cards with the spring-summer 18 collection. Always faithful to the basic house principles, the recital of silhouettes and colours is as avant-garde as it is delicate and exceptional.

In 1917 Coco Chanel introduced the striped shirt, and in 1966 Yves Saint Laurent added the overcoat. The reference of the Massimo Dutti 2018 wall of inspiration is docked in Paris. And the navy spirit (re)emerges in full force in a season all its own, demonstrating how together with a Parisiènne aesthetic it can achieve exceptional results. Striped shirts, white trousers, a mix of blues… The aesthetic of the high seas returns to the city.

Spring will arrive with a certain French allure, which using a maths formula would be something like this: some timeless pieces of the highest quality + a selection of iconic accessories + an enormous dose of self-confidence. These three elements properly combined make up the formula guaranteeing the mythical French je ne sais quoi; that intangible something that characterises French women, having everything to do with attitude and a (discreet) obsession with the unmistakably natural.
