From april 11-14th, the world’s top equestrian event was held in Mexico.
For four days, Campo Marte was the stage where the best jockeys in the world came together to celebrate the second headquarters of the Longines Global Champions Tour 2019, with this being the last stage of the famous global circuit in South America.
The Massimo Dutti Trophy, with obstacles at 1.5/1.6m in height, was earned by Carlos López, from Colombia, who rode an 11 year old chestnut mare, Ulhane de Conde. This test was also the first ranking for the Global Champions League, where the Shanghai Swans team was eventually declared the victor.

From May 2-5th, Shanghai hosted another stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour Circuit.
At the start of the month of May, Shanghai hosted the fourth headquarter of the Longines Global Champions Tour, where 50 of the best jockeys in the world came together in the China Art Palace located in the elegant district of Pudong. Like all of the events that form part of the Longines Global Champions Tour Circuit, this International Show Jumping Competition is regulated by the International Equestrian Federation and has a 5-star category, which means that it is on the maximum level with regards to participation, organisation and awarding of prizes.
The Massimo Dutti Trophy was awarded to the best team in the Global Champions League, the Monaco Aces.
Karel Cox, from Belgium, also stood on the top of the podium as an individual together with his 10 year old horse, Evert.
The Great Longines Prize, the highlight of the weekend, was for Danielle Goldstein from Israel, and experienced and unique rider who wears big colourful feathers in her hair.

Record attendance at the Longines Global Champions Tour at Club de Campo Villa in Madrid, from May 17-19th.
This year, the International Show Jumping Championship in Madrid has greatly exceeded the audience numbers from previous editions. Over 22,000 people visited the facilities at Club de Campo Villa in Madrid over three days to enjoy a competition where 218 horses and 134 jockeys participated in the 15 trials. At this fifth headquarter of the Longines Global Champions Tour, the three most important moments took place on Saturday and Sunday. The team trial in the Global Champions League, where the local team, Madrid in Motion, sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal, achieved a well-deserved third place, or the Longines Grand Prix Madrid, which was won by Martin Fuchs from Switzerland. The jockey sponsored by Massimo Dutti, Maikel Van der Vleuten, came second with his mare called Dana Blue. On Sunday, His Majesty the King’s Cup Volvo Trophy was celebrated, which gave the finishing touch to the event with the victory by Frank Schuttert from Holland.

The team sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal, Madrid in Motion, took on the Longines Global Champions League in Monaco from 27-29th June in an excellent position, with 162 points accumulated.
Maikel van der Vleuten, a jockey sponsored by Massimo Dutti, was the main protagonist of the Grand Prix of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Monaco with his horse Beauville Z. This appointment, the tenth headquarters on the calendar circuit, was celebrated in the impressive Port Hercules, with the particularity of being the most technical event of the 19 stages due to the reduced size of the competition track. An event at a unique scenario surrounded by the best yachts and with the Grimaldi Palace in the background.
On this occasion, the team league once again availed of the Massimo Dutti Trophy, with victory for the Scandinavian Vikings. The team sponsored by Massimo Dutti and Marqués de Riscal, Madrid in Motion, faced this stage of the Global Champions League in full force with ambition in order to continue rising positions in the ranking and achieving second place.

The 11th stop on the Global Champions Tour took place in Paris, with the splendid landscape of the Eiffel Tower, from July 5th-7th.
The equestrian competition took place in the most chic capital city on the planet, underneath the iconic Eiffel Tower and the group of jockeys who participated were top quality, taking into consideration that the five top names on the tour ranking attended this date. Thus, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, Christian Ahlmann from Germany was the victor of the Longines Grand Prix over the 34 pairs who took part in this trial, the most important of the weekend.
Darragh Kenny from Ireland led the Massimo Dutti Trophy with jumps of 1.55 metres in height, the most important trial on Friday with 46 entries to the track and over 15 movements without penalty.
The French “art de vivre” was also experienced through gastronomy with restaurants managed by two famous Michelin-star chefs, Alain Ducasse and Frédéric Vardon.

The Casas Novas Equestrian Centre has celebrated the 38th edition of the International Show Jumping Competition from July 19th to 21st.
The Casas Novas Equestrian Centre, in Arteixo, once again combined competition and leisure. The finishing touch for the 38th edition of the International Show Jumping Competition in A Coruña was provided by the British victory of the Caixabank Grand Prix, the most important prize at the event, which was enjoyed by over 4,000 visitors, which was earned by Guy Williams. The Massimo Dutti trophy, a four-star category with obstacles of 1.45 metres, was claimed by the Spanish jockey Iván Serrano. Of the 13 pairs that classified for the trial, the Spaniard was the fastest. The Basque jockey had to work hard and take risks for each cut-off, and earned the first prize atop Rain Man, 9 years old. He was accompanied on the podium by Aldrick Cheronet from France, who completed the round half a second behind the Spaniard, and Felipe Ramos from Brazil, with Bigstar.

From 3 to 6 October, the best riders in the world assembled once more at the Real Club de polo de Barcelona.
This is the seventh consecutive year that the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona has hosted the final of the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup, the most important competition in the international equestrian calendar. It was ultimately Ireland that, after a tight final, walked away with the trophy and ensured its participation in the next Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020. 8 nations, 98 horsemen and women and 166 horses were the clear stars of the eight competitive events. A total of 6000 jumps were enjoyed by visitors to the individual and team events. Once again this year, Massimo Dutti was present to support the 108th International Jumping competition. During the event, the brand presented an exclusive selection of pieces from its latest Men, Women and Boys&Girls collections; available in the pop-up store at the village at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.
