The ArtInProgress project by Massimo Dutti was created with the mission of promoting the creativity of contemporary artists worldwide. The latest collaboration features artist Mary Lennox at the Juana de Vega 3-5 store in A Coruña. Founded by Ruby Barber, Mary Lennox takes its name from the protagonist of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s The Secret Garden, a story that celebrates the beauty, mystery, and rejuvenating qualities of nature.

For the installation at the A Coruña store, Mary Lennox incorporated native Galician elements. The concept draws inspiration from the hanging techniques traditionally seen in Christmas markets. Here, white thread becomes an integral part of the materiality and texture of the installation, adding to its unique and natural appeal.
