On 22-25 March, the world’s top equestrian event was once again held in Mexico.

Mexico City had the honour of being the first stop on the 2018 Longines Global Champions Tour circuit (and the only stop in Latin America), featuring the world’s highest-ranking riders. The event took place at Campo Marte which has the best grass track in Mexico, worthy of a first-class international competition. For four days it became the epicentre of the equestrian world.

The main event held on 24 March was the Massimo Dutti trophy, awarded to the best time in the 1.50/160 metre class, in which 19 sponsored teams participated, plus a few individual riders, totalling 51 participants. The trophy was won by Scott Brash, a previous world top rider. Kevin Staut of France came in second while the Mexican José Antonio Chedraui also took the podium in third place.
