Massimo Dutti is writing a new chapter in its story of collaborations with internationally renowned suppliers that provide the added value of exclusivity to its collections. Its collaboration with Ezcaray, textile artisans since 1930, is the latest in a series of prestigious partnerships that the brand has been forming lately.

In a days in which quality is above all else and where how and where clothes are made also matter, firms at the forefront of fashion such as Massimo Dutti echo this and commit to initiatives such as special collaborations with providers who work excellently.
The latest capsule collection of nohair wool scarves is the fruit of one of these collaborations. The collection bears the hallmark of quality and exclusivity offered by Ezcaray, a company from La Rioja which is loyal to traditional production processes and carries out the entire manufacturing process in Spain. Ezcaray’s history goes back to 1930, when Cecilio Valgañón, its founder, transformed the production process and went from making cloths with his hand looms to making scarves, shawls and blankets.
“
Nohair is a new concept in fibres, created with natural wool that, when mixed with other fibres, takes on the same appearance as mohair and provides the same qualities, such as softness, shine and warmth.

Adding nohair to its creations in 1950 has marked Ezcaray’s path from then until today. All its products are made with the best natural fibres that nature provides and that skilful and expert hands transform. The collaboration between Massimo Dutti and Ezcaray has resulted in the first capsule collection of nohair scarves in three different colours (white, black and red), which have become part of the latest FW20 Limited Edition collection. The success and excellent results of this collaboration have led to a second set of scarves in violet and nude, also made of nohair. Nohair is a natural fibre that stands out for its countless qualities such as softness, shine, and lightness, and its ability to retain heat. However, a set of care instructions must also be followed to maintain and enhance these features as much as possible, and Massimo Dutti shares them exclusively with its clients.
