When did you start in the fashion industry and how?
I started off as a model that’s how I got to know the industry. But I’ve been shooting since I was about 13. As a young girl I stared shooting different women and together they represented who I wanted to become.
Now it’s more about expressing who I am and the curiosity for who other women are. I love meeting through a photograph. I think shooting fashion always felt like such a natural element in this search.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Perfect happiness for me is about feeling appreciative of the moment… it’s not something you can force but something that can be there in the smallest things. They can be the reminders of that… feeling the sun on my skin, holding my daughter. Having a great meal with my family, being in nature and seeing the horizon.

To be ‘on the side of life’
It’s wonderful to have goals and see where you want to be heading but ultimately the bigger art form is not Always to listen to yourself but also listen to life.
I think a lot of people work against life…I’m not saying Im always smooth sailing with the current but whenever I remember I try to not fight what comes my way.
