For yet another year, the city of Florence has become a world showcase for men’s fashion with the Pitti Uomo Show, “The world’s most important platform for men’s fashion and accessories and for launching new projects”, as they define themselves. A few tips to stay on top of the most important men’s fashion event of the season.

The exhibition
The museum exhibits historical garments from the early 18th century to the first two decades of the 20th century.
Special Guest Editors
As guest designer, the British-Jamaican Grace Wales Bonner, one of the most prominent new faces on the men’s fashion scene, and a unique event curated by the well-known Belgian designer, Ann Demeulemeester.
The leitmotiv
“Pitti Island” is the theme for this edition and is a perfect metaphor for the Pitti shows and how they select the best and most representative elements of today’s fashion.
