Located in the building that housed Denmark’s first public hospital, the Designmuseum is considered the top design and decorative arts museum in Scandinavia. Its exhibits include industrial designs and artisan crafts from the Western world as well as Asia, ranging from the Middle Ages to the present day. The aim of this museum is to serve as a source of inspiration and to shape its visitors’ critical eye— that of adults through its exhibits, and children through educational activities and family workshops.
