Esther Schipper opened her gallery in Cologne in 1989 but she decided to move it to the German capital in 1997. What sets Schipper’s gallery apart from other galleries in the city and characterises it is that the works of all the artists represented cover a wide range of techniques and create interesting dialogic moments. In 2018, the gallery also added a small bookstore where you can find a carefully chosen selection of monographs, catalogues and all kinds of publications related to the world of art.
