Heritage House is a historic, traditional house that reflects Dubai’s past. The building dates from the end of the 19th century. In 1910, the property was bought by Sheikh Ahmed bin Dalmouk, the most famous pearl merchant in the region. In his hands, the house went from having two rooms to becoming a 950 m² mansion. The house changed hands over the years until in 1994, the government of Dubai acquired it in order to renovate it and use it for tourist and cultural activities.
