Maison de la Photographie
Marrakesh
The aim of this museum is to show the extraordinary diversity of Morocco, its way of life, its past and its traditions. The museum’s 3 floors hold 10,000 documents dating from 1870 to 1960. Although most of them are photographs, with a total of 4,500 images, it also includes newspapers, magazines, postcards, maps and a rare colour documentary filmed in 1957. Visiting this museum is a great way to learn about the history of the country in a graphic and visual way.
