Geraldine Saglio, one of the most influential international fashion editors, shares with us different moments from her new day-to-day life with her children Leonard and Elisabeth at her inspiring home in Paris. A story full of love and fun, enjoyed by they all together.
What is your new daily routine?
Of course, everything has changed. As we are in an apartment, we had to plan our day around the kids.
We try to wake up quite late!
Every morning at 11AM I do a fitness lesson on instagram live, a very good one I have to say.
I start "working from home" at 12PM until lunchtime; I am preparing mood boards for clients, researching and new ideas for next season!
We have lunch, every day at the same time that I cook together with my husband for our family.
Every afternoon, I am doing home schooling, the kids have lots of homework and new lessons, so part of my new job is TEACHER!!!
From 5:30 to 7 pm it is a break for everyone.
Then we all play games together until dinner.
Every evening we watch a new movie, one night with kids, one night without.

Out of bed but nowhere to go…
How to dress cozy, to feel comfy and look fantastic?
I start the day with a fitness look every morning. My favorite one is a Nike one!
Then I change into a cosy sweater with my best pair of jeans! Always bare feet… I love that!
3. How are you spending your time at home? Your confinement’s the best plan.
1) I have started a creative workshop with my kids, (Instagram @happygrigri) it is necklaces, bracelets, key rings with pearls and all the money is going to the hospital! They have lots of orders that make them so happy and it’s for the good cause.
2) Fitness sport at 11am @amandine sports
3) Yoga at 5:30 pm
“
It is a very difficult period, but I am learning so many new things every day that I would never have learned before!
”
What’s on your bedside?
On my bedside, I have my book that I am reading at the moment… and my iPhone!!
Your favorite window’s view?
I have a big bow window at home, with lots of sun and light. We made a bench with lots of cushions, i like to come here to think and relax when it’s sunny.
These days at home you miss more …
I think what I am missing the most is being outside, just walking in a park, in the street. I am missing my family, my brother who just came back from Canada, it’s been 6 months of not seeing him, he lives close to me but we can’t pop in and say hi! It is a very difficult period, but I am learning so many new things every day that I would never have learned before!
“
I usually like reading when I am travelling; usually never at home because I don’t have so much time between kids and work! At the moment I am reading “les choses Humaines” from Karine tuiles

A book you always wanted to read and now (at last) you are reading?

A film you always wanted to watch and now (at last) you are watching?
I am on Netflix a lot like everyone else I guess. I can recommend one movie a Turkish movie that is really amazing…but you will cry!!!
What’s the first thing you will do after the confinement?
I will go to see my family, kiss them and have dinner in a restaurant! No more lunches or dinners at home!
Share with us your favorite thought for these days at home
I want to thank the caregivers of the hospital, they are HEROS!
