The artist
Frédéric Forest is one of the artists who have collaborated on the launch of the latest perfume collection, Massimo Dutti Scents. His minimalist illustrations, mostly female shapes drawn with one brushstroke, are highly sought-after works of art.
Forest began selling some of his illustrations on the streets of New York and today he heads the list of the most highly valued contemporary artists. But, as well as being a famous illustrator, Frédéric Forest is also the designer and co-founder, with Clémentine Giaconia, of the prestigious FRST creative studio in Paris

His artistic collaborations with large brands such as his work on the latest Massimo Dutti collection of perfumes, the Scents Collection Men & Women Edition and his portraits of the female form have made him one of the most sought-after artists and perhaps the artist with the most followers on Instagram.
His method is simple. His work is based on simple brush strokes and following shapes and he never rubs anything out. Frédéric only works in black, using pencil or calligraphy pen, and he is influenced by everything around him: fashion, cuisine, music, printing, dance and poetry, although his greatest influence is probably photography.
