Massimo Dutti’s Art ln Progress project was created with the mission to promote the talent and creativity of local artists from around the world. Ángela Jiménez Durán has been one of the 7 artists chosen to exhibit a selection of her work in the shop at Paseo de Gracia 96, coinciding with the fashion show of the latest Limited Edition collections. The exhibition will remain open to the public until 20 October.

Ángela Jiménez Durán
Ángela Jiménez Durán’s artistic practice revolves around installation and sculpture, sometimes incorporating writing and drawing to craft fictional narratives that explore uncertain yet possible futures. Her works often function like fragments of a larger story, with some pieces becoming clues in a broader narrative. She is particularly drawn to creating a sense of strangeness, leaving the viewer with the impression that something has happened or is about to happen.
Her work has been exhibited in international spaces such as La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Industry Brno (Czech Republic), POUSH (Paris), and Maus Hábitos (Porto). In 2023, she was awarded the Palais de Tokyo x Art of Change 21 Eco-Conception award.
