Massimo Dutti’s ArtInProgress project was created with the mission to promote the talent and creativity of local artists from around the world. Cristina Mejías Gómez has been one of the 7 artists chosen to exhibit a selection of her work in the shop at Paseo de Gracia 96, coinciding with the fashion show of the latest Limited Edition collections. The exhibition will remain open to the public until 20 October.

Cristina Mejías Gómez
Cristina Mejías Gómez’s work stems from intimate narratives, often passed down orally, where milestones, myths, and legends intermingle. Her projects, multidisciplinary in nature, challenge the dominant narratives of history, offering alternative perspectives. These immersive installations transform space and time, creating rhythms and evolutions that encourage reflection. By blurring the lines between reality and fiction, her work prompts critical conversations about how knowledge is transmitted.
