Within the framework of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Massimo Dutti presents ArtInProgress together with RF Studio, integrating pieces into its store at Via Dante, 7. The intervention proposes a dialogue between architecture and matter, where the installation unfolds discreetly, accompanying the space and generating a slower reading of the retail environment, focused on perception, atmosphere, and the visitor’s sensory experience.

The proposal is structured around materials in their essential state, approached from a sculptural perspective. Eroded surfaces, irregular cuts, and organic volumes define a language that evokes both the natural and the intervened. Light interacts with the pieces, revealing textures and nuances, generating subtle contrasts that transform the perception of space. Each element introduces a visual pause, inviting a more attentive and conscious observation, where the minimal takes on prominence and constructs its own meaning within the whole.

Far from being understood as display supports, RF Studio’s pieces function as autonomous presences that build their own landscape within the space. Fashion integrates into this context without imposing itself, establishing a balanced relationship between object, body, and environment. The installation dissolves the boundaries between disciplines, proposing a natural coexistence between art, design, and product, where each element finds its place within a coherent, silent, and carefully articulated composition.

ArtInProgress thus reaffirms Massimo Dutti’s intention to explore new ways of interacting with retail space. The collaboration with RF Studio highlights an aesthetic based on materiality, proportion, and silence. In harmony with the context of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the intervention proposes an experience where contemporary sensibility is expressed through restraint, precision, balance, and timeless elegance.
