Massimo Dutti Flagship Store
– Masaryk – Ciudad de México –

The Mexican studio Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos wins the international UNESCO Prix Versailles, for the flagship store of Massimo Dutti in Mexico City.

Built on Avenida Masaryk, the street with the largest luxury offer in the country, Massimo Dutti’s flagship store has been honoured for its exterior design in the Store category within the region of North America.

The rhythm of rectangular modules is an orthogonal section of metallic structure, while the texture of the façade is latticework inspired by the reinterpretation of traditional ironwork bars in Polanco. This generates a series of rectangular recesses that are randomly repeated within the orthogonal grid
