MD_ Your new daily routines that keep you feeling positive?
AS_ I have been letting myself sleep in a bit more, until about 8:30 am, on the weekdays. I enjoy getting up and getting my studying done first thing and then I usually go for an outdoor walk or run. I live with my parents and siblings so we have been spending some quality family time together in the evenings.
MD_ Any secret discoveries to share?
AS_ I have discovered a love of hiking over the past few weeks. We have beautiful mountains in my state, so I have been going on long hikes a couple times a week, it’s so nice to get out and get some fresh air and take in some beautiful views.
MD_ How would you pack for next weekend suitcase?
AS_ I would want to spend it in the mountains so I would pack my hiking boots, a nice cozy sweater for the evenings, and some athletic wear for the day times so I could do some adventuring outside.
MD_ Smell and flavor that brings back good memories?
AS_ Whenever I was younger and would spend the night at my grandma’s house, I would always want to have a cup of coffee like her in the mornings. However, since I was 5 or 6, she gave me more of a cup of creamer with a small splash of coffee. The creamer she used was this almond one that smelled and tasted so warm and cozy. Whenever I taste something that is similar it always takes me back to mornings in her sunroom enjoying a cup of “coffee” with her.

MD_ What is your motto in life?
AS_ I think my main motto in life is to be kind to everyone no matter what. This is something that I strive to improve on every day. I think it is so incredibly important to show kindness and compassion to everyone, even if you feel they may have wronged you, this way they may be able to learn from you.
