Massimo Dutti’s Art in Progress project was created with the mission of promoting the creativity of local artists in some of the world’s main capitals. With this aim in mind, the firm incorporates the work of a selection of contemporary artists in its shops. The artist’s work is about flourishing the concept that art cannot exist without intention: an underlying meaning behind everything, whether it is finding the hidden purpose of existing objects or paying attention to things that are often overlooked. The artist’s intention can be to transform, the object’s to exist or the viewer’s to discover.

On the occasion of the Salon Pitti Uomo in Florence, the artist Luca Vanello is exhibiting his work in the shop windows of the Via Roma shop. For a few days, customers visiting the Massimo Dutti shop located in the historic centre of the city can admire the installation by the renowned Italian-Slovenian artist whose inanimate objects, images, affections and energies are seen as part of the same organic whole. Through this exhibition, the firm invites art and fashion lovers to immerse themselves in an interesting visual journey to explore the duality of life through the eyes of the artist.
