Elisa Sednaoui and Noah Mills are the guest editors of a special issue dedicated to the opening of the new flagship store that Massimo Dutti has just opened in the Galleria Alberto Sordi in Rome. With them we have shared their special relationship with the eternal city, and their most hidden concerns.

“ I like to perform , now I do it acting and directing.”

What would you particularly say about Rome amongst other cosmopolitan cities?

Rome has a history that is visible to the eye and touch that is unparalleled by any other city. This interview is making me want to be there!

How did you decide to go from basketball to modelling?

Well basketball was never really a career for me but it was something that inspired me to want to perform in a certain way. The court is a stage and modelling is also a stage in some ways. I like to perform , now I do it acting and directing. I live to bring individuality to an audience.

Between fashion and cinema, which would you choose?

I don’t know whether you can separate them! Cinema without fashion is incomplete and fashion without the inspiration of cinema is dull.
Having said that, at the moment I prefer to work in cinema, but a large part of anything I could bring to cinema would contain a very heavy aesthetic component.

Thinking of a project, what is your future dream?

To direct a major feature film.

Where do you feel at home now?

On Venice beach and in Paris!
