At the end of the Passeig de Gràcia 96 flagship, a historic Modernist courtyard has been restored to its former splendour by British landscape designers Harry and David Rich. Their intervention establishes a dialogue between architecture, history and nature, incorporating species adapted to the Mediterranean climate while preserving the defining features of the original space through a distinctly contemporary approach to landscape design.

Inside a historic Neoclassical residence on Avenida da Liberdade, Jesús Moraime has conceived a garden where architecture and landscape find a new balance. The concentric and radial arrangement of the planting respects the mansion’s historic flowerbeds, while Iberian vegetation, water and an evocative chromatic composition create an intervention that brings the botanical world into the heart of Lisbon.

At Serrano 48, Italian landscape designer Stefano Baccari transforms the inner courtyard into a romantic garden inspired by the grand villas of the late 18th century. Vegetation rises through the building’s four levels, accompanying visitors from its windows. Unexpected botanical combinations, chromatic contrasts and ephemeral compositions turn the journey through the space into a natural experience with a distinctly sensory dimension.
